FAQs

  • We are located at the top of Pembroke, on Main Street, just a few doors up from Top of Town Chippy.

  • Station Road (Pembroke Train Station) is 0.2 miles away. Parking charges are between 9 AM and 7 PM—£1 for 24 hours (there's a free car park at the back of the station). The Commons is 0.5 miles away, with free parking from October 31st to March 1st. There is also limited street parking outside.

  • Please bring a swimsuit, a towel, and an extra towel to sit on (these are available for hire at £3 if you forget.). A water bottle (no glass, please!) is also recommended.

  • Nope! We accept both reservations and walk-ins. However, reservations are suggested to guarantee a specific appointment time. Walk-in availability is based on capacity limits and cannot be guaranteed.

  • 16 and up! Or 14 and older if accompanied by a legal guardian.

  • You'll have access to our changing rooms, lockers, showers, cold plunge pools, traditional Finnish sauna, full-spec infrared sauna, red light, and chromotherapy.

  • We suggest a circuit that starts with a warm shower (we require all guests to shower before entry).
After the warm shower, hit the sauna, followed by a cold shower to rinse off before going into the cold plunge. After the cold plunge, hang out and rehydrate on our benches or swings for 10–15 minutes before repeating the process. Of course, this is simply a suggestion! We encourage guests to move at their own pace and do what feels best for them.

  • Infrared saunas use infrared heaters to directly heat the body from the inside out, rather than heating the surrounding air. This leads to deeper heat penetration, promoting more efficient sweating and detoxification. Due to the deeper penetration, infrared saunas can operate at much lower temperatures for the same or better results.

  • While our services provide many health benefits, we recommend consulting your physician prior to use, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions. Do not use while pregnant, intoxicated, or predisposed to bleeding. Those with a fever, insensitivity to heat, or a pacemaker should avoid sauna usage. If you are on prescription medications, sauna usage may alter the medication’s effects.

  • A common beginner mistake with cold plunging is not submerging deep enough. For maximum benefits, you’ll want to submerge deep enough for the cold water to reach the vagus nerve located near your collarbones.

  • We currently offer two different session options. The water in the standard plunge is set at 8 degrees, while the water in the advanced plunge is set at 4 degrees.

  • Colour Light Therapy is a method of treatment that uses the visible spectrum (colours) of electromagnetic light to restore balance to one’s physiology. It is a centuries-old concept used successfully to treat various diseases and ailments. Red light is a form of color light therapy, and all of our saunas have a red light option.

  • Absolutely! We understand the cold isn't for everyone. However, we do offer a cold shower and an ice bucket shower if that's more your style!
